The superheroes have the wind in their sails. For a long time confined to the pages of comic books and animated cartoons , they gradually imposed themselves on the cinema (thank you Iron Man, the Avengers , the Guardians of the Galaxy ...) , and start to make a good place on the small screen. Not that they have never been there, the evidence with Smallville , which tells the genesis of Superman. But the real superheroes (super-powers and super-costumes included) had difficulty to make a place between the medical series and the series police.

Today, things have changed. And it was first of all thanks to the action of an American channel, the CW Network, which decided to launch several series devoted to superheroes, from the universe DC Comics (to whom we owe Batman , for example) . All these heroic series have made a cardboard in the United States. And they arrive on television in France, little by little, to the delight of the viewers.

The series of superheroes that make their big comeback this year

Once it is not customary, before talking about the new features of this year, we must make a small return on series already broadcast on the small screen. Because they are intrinsically linked to the novelties.

Arrow is the first series of superheroes developed by the CW in 2012. It tells the story of Oliver Queen, son of a wealthy family, who returns after disappearing for five years. During his exile, he made a decision: to make his city a better place, by tracking criminals. He then becomes Arrow , a judge. He does not have super-powers, but the universe of the series is bathed in mysticism and magic. First broadcast on Canal Family , the series has now found its place in the grid of TF1. Season 4 will land on September 13, 2016, in the second part of the evening, starting at 23:25.

The Arrow series later introduced another character, Barry Allen, a young scientist who later became The Flash , a superhero who gained his powers through (or rather because of) the explosion of an accelerator of particles. Henceforth with superhuman speed and the power to heal in an accelerated way, he will put his powers at the service of the good, tracking meta-humans, that is to say, other people who have gained superpowers, and using it to do evil . Each year, the two series cross each other on the occasion of a crossover .

The opportunity for the two heroes of The Flash and Arrow to collaborate, and to offer us beautiful moments of complicity. This spin-off is currently broadcast on TF1, and the broadcast is expected to continue for a few more weeks.
