When one thinks "French series", one tends to think of all the old series that one watched in the evening, almost out of spite, before discovering with happiness the trilogy of the Saturday, the American series, or even Netflix. If they have had some success in the last few years, the Commissioner's investigations Maigret and other Navarro are no longer really us dream.
Result: in recent years, the French series appeared on the downward slope, and seduced less and less. But that was before. For some time, the shows of the small screen seem to have found a new breath. More original ideas, a quality casting ... From TF1 to Canal , via France Télévision, success is now the appointment!
The French series not to be missed at the start of the school year
If the American innovations are numerous, the small French screen also provides some new quality for this season 2016-2017 ...
- Revenge with clear eyes, with Laetitia Milot (September 8 on TF1)
The star of Plus Belle la Vie invites itself on TF1 the time of a mini-series, entitled the revenge with the clear eyes. The story ? It is from Olivia (embodied by Laetitia Milot), a woman who lost her mother and brother in a car accident. At least, apparently: they were actually the victim of a murder, and the heroine intends to take revenge and do justice to his family. For this, she will change her identity, and infiltrate a wealthy family she knows involved in the affair.
- Innocente, with Julie de Bona (France 3)
Already seen in incredible success The secret of Elise on TF1, Julie de Bona will soon land on France 3 in Innocente . She will play Roxane Delage, a professor of archeology who wakes up naked beside a man's corpse. Arrested and charged for murder, she will leave prison eight years later, determined to do everything to prove her innocence.
- Les malaises, with Franck Dubosc (M6)
M6 decided to adapt one of the biggest successes of Quebec television, Les Beaux Malaises . For the occasion, the channel has recruited Franck Dubosc , who will take the title role of this comedy which recounts with black humor the life of a false star. The French series that will make their return in 2016-2017
Because there are not only the novelties in life, many series already well installed in the French audiovisual landscape will make their return for the 2016-2017 season.
- Clem (TF1) : Since 2010, the series has established itself on the first channel, and returns for a season 7. The opportunity to meet Lucie Lucas, Rayanne Bensetti and others.

- Do not do it, not do it (France 2): One of the biggest success in terms of French comedy continues to seduce on France 2 since the series returns for Season 9, no less.
- Profiling (TF1) : The series carried by Odile Vuillemin is a great success: it is broadcast in 13 countries (Germany, Belgium, Brazil ...) , and will return shortly for a season 7. Return expected by the end of the year 2016.

We do not forget them: the French series that marked the small screen
In the category "cult series" in France, it is impossible not to start talking about Plus Belle la Vie . 12 years of existence, more than 2,800 episodes, the series still wins such success, and is always at the forefront of news, surfing on events to stay closer to the public. A recipe that works.
It is also impossible not to evoke Les Revenants. The series has only two seasons, it definitely marked a real turnaround in the French series.
