ingredients

- 3 shallots
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp. to c. fresh or frozen grated ginger
- 1 tbsp. to s. olive oil
- 2 large boxes of peeled tomatoes
- 1 tablet of chicken broth
- 1/2 cuil. to c. chili powder or a few drops of Tabasco
- 4 slices of bread
- 16 crushed almonds
- Salt
- Pepper

Steps

Step 1

Peel and chop the shallots, peel and crush the garlic. In a large Dutch oven, brown with ginger in olive oil.
Add tomatoes and broth, cover with water (about 250 ml). Boil, reduce heat and simmer covered for 5 minutes. Add the chilli or Tabasco. Mix.

2nd step

Toast slices of bread for 2 minutes in a toaster, cut into sticks.
Serve hot soup sprinkled with crushed almonds. Go with some wet things.
