The dried apricots, to give me a whiplash

With 3 or 4 dried apricots, it is full of carbohydrates, so fuel for the brain or body. Always better than a choco bar: apricots are "alkalizing", that is, they come to counterbalance the industrial foods that are abused and tiring our body!

For maximum energy and vitamins, we forget the fluorescent orange apricots, stuffed with sulphites, which sometimes give a headache. We put rather on organic, less beautiful but lacking chemical treatments.

How to prepare dried apricots? We add them to our cakes or we go for tajines (chicken, lamb or kebabs). And as the apricot is already dried, we do not lose nutrients during cooking!

Wheat germ, to keep fishing all day

Rich in vitamins B (necessary for the assimilation of carbohydrates, which give us energy) and zinc (essential to strengthen our immune defenses), it is a mine of nutrients anti-fatigue.

It is found in the form of powder or flakes (eg Gerblé Wheat Germ or 3-in-1 from Gayelord Hauser), and as it has almost no taste, it goes unnoticed, even on the plate of children!

How to cook wheat germ? You can sprinkle 1 or 2 tablespoons. to c. a day in a salad, soup or yoghurt. And for gourmets, in an anti-fatigue crepe recipe: add 2 tbsp. to s. Wheat germ to our usual dough by mixing it well before mixing it with the flour.

Pepper, to fill up with vitamin C

Red pepper (more ripe than green or yellow, so richer in nutrients) displays 165 mg of vitamin C / 100 g, 3 times more than orange! So, consuming 1/2 a day is enough to cover our daily needs ... and to better withstand small infections this winter.

As long as you do not remove the skin: this is where the vitamins are nestled. So, it is better to prefer the organic version , because it is one of the vegetables that retain the most pesticides and it is regularly pinned for too high levels of chemical residues ...

How to cook pepper? In salad, preferably raw (vitamin C, fragile, lost in cooking), diced or sliced, or in coulis: 1 diced pepper, mixed with 2 fresh tomatoes, 15 g of tomato paste , garlic and basil. It is simmered for 15 minutes over low heat.

And we drink ... Superfruits in juice

According to in vitro studies, goji, stuffed with vitamin C, could strengthen our natural defenses, and the mangosteen would have antidepressant properties. In the meantime confirmation, we drink a glass a day of this "superjus", if only for the taste! ?
