Hot recipes made from mussels
In our regions, it is hot that the mussel is most often consumed, the most popular recipe being certainly mussels / fries! The mussels are also very popular: after cleaning and rinsing the mussels, simply cook them over high heat in a saucepan with dry white wine, pieces of shallots, butter, parsley and a good swig of pepper. Cook with the lid and stop cooking when the mussels are open. Serve the mussels by sprinkling with a little lemon juice and eat while it's hot. Attention: never eat the mussels still closed (recommendation valid for all recipes). In the same vein, it is also possible to prepare curry mussels or cream mussels. You can also use your mussels in paella, lasagna with seafood or risotto.

Cold recipes made from mussels
The mussels are also delicious served cold. The first step of each recipe is of course to cook the mussels in the pan until they open. Then simply remove them by throwing those still closed ... These cold molds can then be used in various preparations. For example, you can simply add a dressing sauce, some herbs and shallot to your mussels, let it cool down and enjoy these mussels in salad. You can also prick your mussels on a skewer, alone or alternately with shrimp. Another good recipe idea: cold stuffed mussels. The principle is to keep the mussel in one half of its shell after cooking. This shell half can be stuffed with small pieces of peppers and tomatoes: it is advisable not to put too much to preserve the taste of the mold.
