Before laying the heating rollers

The day before the session of curlers, wash your hair and apply a volumizing care on the half lengths and the tips. It is usually in the form of foam or spray. On D-Day, take care to brush all the hair to smooth it to the maximum. Have gentle gestures and a suitable brush so as not to break the hair fiber. Before laying, consider applying protective care on the areas to be looped. Indeed, the heat of the curlers can agress the hair, so it is important to protect them well. To do this, use a suitable product just before styling the hair. Once these gestures are done, you are ready to install the heating curlers.

How to use heated curlers?

Allow the curlers to warm up in the machine. Once the red light goes out, you can put your curlers on all dry hair. Distribute the rolls uniformly, wicking the hair after having taken care to dress the hair well and to have done the line that corresponds to a natural movement. Use the different sizes of curlers according to the desired effect. It is however advisable to use the big models for the front and make a variegated of the other sizes for the sides and the back. Once the curlers have cooled, that is to say after about fifteen minutes, they can be removed by tilting the head slightly forward, detaching them and leaving the strands unwinding themselves. For maximum results, wait 30 to 40 minutes before removing. The result is very satisfying, the curls are very voluminous and the hairstyle very aerial.

Tips for extending the effect of heated curlers

Before and after removing the curlers, apply a lacquer to the entire hair. Once all the rollers are unfastened, re-craft the locks on the fingers, crushing them and moving them upwards. You will get a nice spring. For a voluminous effect made of loops more relaxed, lean your head forward and gently pass your fingers through the strands, from the root to the tips. Raise the head and simply brush the end of the hair. This technique gives a nice natural movement to the hair.
