Real or officinal lavender: the all-in-one

Ultrapolyvalente is the base of the medicine cabinet. Very popular in anxiety disorders , it is also particularly useful against all skin problems and difficult digestion . It can even fight against lice !

What do we do with it? An insect bite , a sunburn ? Two to four drops of lavender are applied to the irritated area . Against the buttons , it is mixed with a little tea tree essential oil (a drop of each) and applied point by point. What do we do with it? Against fungal infections or warts, apply two drops to the infected skin or dilute it in a spoonful of vegetable oil if the affected area is extensive. You can also drop a drop on your toothbrush or rub your hands after washing with soap for impeccable hygiene.

Peppermint: the ally of digestion

It is the ally of choice against digestive disorders (nausea, heaviness, bloating). We appreciate its fresh scent, but it is imperative to respect the doses because it is very powerful.

What do we do with it? A drop on a piece of sugar after the meal aids digestion , but it is also a radical cure for motion sickness. It can also be combined with the essential oils of lemon and tropical basil in the herbal tea after a holiday (a drop of each in a spoonful of honey). In all cases, it is avoided to give to children under 6 years as well as to the elderly.

Ravintsara (cinnamomum camphora): the antiseptic

If we only had to choose an essential oil against the small evils of winter , it would be this one. Antiviral, antiseptic and expectorant , it stimulates the immune system and fights against physical and nervous fatigue . It is also very effective against colds , respiratory tract infections and even gastroenteritis.

What do we do with it? From the first cold, it is customary to broadcast morning and evening a mixture of ravintsara, lemon and eucalyptus radish . Ylang ylang

Noble or Roman chamomile: the good fairy of toddlers

This anti-inflammatory and sedative essential oil is ideal for treating children's sores , but it is also highly appreciated by the older ones for its spectacular soothing action.

What do we do with it? If the child is having trouble falling asleep, he is made to breathe the open bottle. If it is his first teeth that bother him , we massage the gum of a finger with a drop of chamomile diluted in two drops of vegetable oil of St. John's Wort or softer, hydrosol of Roman chamomile. In the stressed adult, she works miracles with a few pure drops on the plexus, the arch and the wrists.

Immortelle (or Helichryse italicum): the restorer

Blows, bruises, bumps? The immortal is needed (but she is expensive). Anti-hematoma, anti-inflammatory, it has excellent healing properties on wounds and burns, but also on fractures or sprains. This is good, it is perfect for children (from 7 years).
