No, the hair will not pass through me!

To end the repeated sessions of waxing and avoid the inconveniences associated with hair removal , there are new machines for permanent hair removal , known as permanent waxing . We have tested for you two models that promise us the smooth leg: The E-One brand E-swin and Lumea from Philips.

? What is E-one?

? What is Lumea?

Lumea is a small, intense pulsed light epilator from the Philips brand.

? In practice :

No need for gel, Lumea can be used directly on the skin . Once the machine is switched on, it must be ensured that the 6 zones of the flash head are in contact with the skin. Then, one flashed, zone after zone, without recharging time.

? The :

• Its practical format (Lumea is only slightly larger than a conventional electric epilator) which makes it easy to transport it and reach difficult areas without having to contort.
• Its price: 500 euros (recommended public price).
• Its lamp, which requires no replacement throughout the lifetime of the product (about 40,000 flashes).
• His speed of execution, without pain .

? The - :

• A 3 cm2 flashing surface , convenient for small areas to be depilated, much less for larger ones.
• Long-term effectiveness, but not in the first sessions.
• Flat also for very dull or bronzed skins as well as for the very blond hairs: the machine only works well when the contrast between the skin and the hair is important .
• Finally, Lumea does not prevent the paradoxical regrowth of certain sensitive areas (such as the cheeks and the middle zone of the abdomen).
