Thirty years ago, three American scientists revealed how our internal clock orchestrates the activity of our genes. We now know that all the parameters of our body (hormones, concentration, immunity, power, appetite, mood ...) vary during a cycle of about 24 hours. We follow the movement to be in top form!

The importance of breakfast

A little before dawn, the brain activates to stimulate the body and mind. It is given a boost by eating proteins (ham, egg, yoghurt, ...) in the morning, essential for the manufacture of the molecules of awakening. Insulin, the hormone that regulates blood sugar levels, is more "active" at the beginning of the day. Translation: you store less fat after a big breakfast than after a heavy dinner. Interesting no?

10h - 13h: at the top of the concentration

Between 10h and 13h, our concentration is at the top . We take the opportunity to tackle complicated problems or tasks that require attention to detail. On the other hand, it is better to wait for the evening to engage in creative activities. As for sport, if the main thing is to move, whatever the time, the muscle tone is at the highest around 17h. This is the moment to achieve a performance .

We go to bed on time

Each of us is different. To find the right rhythm , we keep a sleep diary with the hours of sleep, falling asleep, getting up and the quality of sleep for 3 weeks. We thus deduce the sleep time that suits us and the time at which the sandman passes.
