Yogurt maker, oven or pressure cooker: the methods to make your yoghurt

Start by diluting your yoghurt or powdered ferment in cold milk (or warm for a passage in the oven). If necessary, add milk powder to thicken and flavor to your liking. The easiest way is to use a yogurt maker. In this case, pour your preparation in yogurt pots and place them in your device. After closing the lid, turn on your yogurt maker and let it work for 6 to 8 hours depending on your model. If you wish to use a pressure cooker, put a small amount of water in your appliance before putting it under pressure. Let your casserole whisper about 5 minutes then pour your preparation into small glass jars without a lid. Turn off your casserole, drop the pressure, remove the water and quickly place your pots in the casserole. Close the lid and let stand 6 to 8 hours before putting your yogurt in the refrigerator. For baking, preheat your appliance to 40 ° C. Bake your glass jars for 1 hour and a half. Turn off the oven, but leave it closed: the yogurts must remain there for at least 6 hours before being put in the refrigerator.
