On the occasion of the day of storage at the office, on March 21, 2016, ManoMano.fr, community website of DIYers, surveyed the French on the management of their workspaces. Balance: it is not folichon.

A workspace to improve

The development at work begins with a pleasant work space. Gold,

- 64% of French people are not satisfied with the general state of their office compared to only 4% who find their office very well maintained.

- 48%, almost half of respondents, are quite dissatisfied since they would have some improvements to make to their office although they find it quite well maintained.

- A quest for imperative zenitude? Not necessarily: a tidy workspace contributes to well-being at work for only 32% of respondents.

- On the other hand, friendly colleagues and a good working atmosphere make it possible for 93% of French respondents to feel good in the office.

- 50% consider that a place of conviviality and creativity contributes to well-being at work.

To summarize, a poorly organized work space, unpleasant colleagues and an unwelcoming place, are factors of stress and misunderstanding in the office for many French respondents.

French people ready to get involved?

- For 64% of French respondents, the place of work does not belong to them and they therefore have no work to do themselves.

- 41% ask a manager to repair the broken object and 23% do nothing at all.

- However, 89% are willing to put their hands in the dough to create a better working environment but for half, they will not do it alone.

The questions were asked on the Facebook site with 13,000 people between March 1 and 10, 2016.
