How it works ?

To use it, nothing more simple, just photograph the list of components printed on the packaging of the product with his smartphone.

After a few seconds of analysis, the results fall: endocrine disruptors , worrying preservatives, comedogenic or irritating agents, nanomaterials or the 26 labelable allergens of the European Cosmetic Regulations (substances subject to restriction), we discover the list of controversial ingredients or allergens identified .

These are accompanied by pictograms that signify their origins (a cat's paw for ingredients of animal origin, a leaf for ingredients of plant origin ...). A small cloud means that it is a controversial substance.

The data for each component is supplemented by a bibliography to scientifically validate each piece of information.

Pedagogical, the application invites us to consult a glossary that allows us to learn a little more about 800 ingredients frequently used in beauty products.

To date, 5 controversial ingredients are very common in the results of the analyzed products indicates the app: PEG (polyethylene glycol), phenoxyethanol, disodium EDTA, butylhydroxytoluene (BHT), paraffinium liquidum.
