ingredients

200 g small strawberries
1 tbsp. to s. tapered almonds
4 slices of bread?
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
3 1 tbsp. to s. brown sugar
4 tbsp. to s. icing sugar
25 cl of cream? whole liquid fresh
Soft butter

Equipment

1 nonstick skillet
1 salad bowl, narrow and high, placed in a large salad bowl filled with ice cubes
1 electric whisk
1 oven plate

Steps

Step 1

In advance : butter the slices of bread fairly generously on one side, powder 3 tbsp. of brown sugar. Melt a knob of butter in the pan, put the slices, let them caramelize over low heat.

2nd step

Prepare everything : pour the very cold cream into the narrow bowl. Whip approx. 5 min, until very firm foam; add icing sugar and vanilla sugar, whip 30 s. Keep cool. Blend the almonds over medium heat in the frying pan without fat.

Step 3

Serve : put the sandwiches on the plate. Cover with strawberries. Put a knob of butter, powder 1 tbsp. brown sugar, caramelize the surface approx. 2 min under the hot grill. Add the almonds. Serve hot with the cold whipped cream.
