Vert Marine, a company specializing in sports and public recreation equipment, supported by the EP & S editions, is offering the 8th edition of the "Days of Rescue" from June 6 to 12, 2016 . The operation is intended to raise public awareness of rescue and first aid . Every summer in France, more than 1,500 people drown , and nearly 500 drownings are deadly . At issue: the lack of training in first aid. During these 6 days, the company Vert Marine, in partnership with the local communities and actors, organizes many activities around these actions that save in the Green Marine pools located throughout France ( Aquazena Issy-les-Moulineaux, Océabul in St Jean de Monts, Aquaré in St Martin de Ré ...).
- From Monday 6 to Friday 10 June 2016 , nearly 50 swimming pools of the Vert Marine network offer educational workshops for schoolchildren around the theme of rescue initiation.
- On the weekends of June 11 and 21, 2016 , the participating pools will set up rescue demonstrations to show everyone what to do in case of drowning. In partner swimming schools, an introduction to free first aid is also offered for adults. Objective: to learn the essential gestures of emergency relief. An entertainment program for young and old alike and also planned.
- Brochures will also be distributed in public swimming pools to raise awareness about the risks of drowning.

In 2015, the 7th edition of "Days of Rescue" brought together nearly 200,000 people including 45,000 children.
