All the more so because a recent study of the search engine dedicated to the voyage, Kayak * , reveals that more and more French people decide to travel at the time. And yes, to take a nose to the cold, nothing like going to the sunny destinations! So we go where this winter?

The trendy destinations for this winter

Feeling a little saving break away from our negative temperatures? Cap on the Maldives . This is the destination that rises this year. According to the study conducted by Kayak, flights to Male have increased by 109% compared to last year. This destination is perfect to enjoy a week of absolute rest and spend its diving baptism to revel in the spectacle of the barrier reef and the millions of multicolored fish that come to take refuge there. Endangered by the rising waters, the Maldives archipelago is to be discovered urgently!

Jakarta and Bali are also popular destinations. With 69% searches for the first and 29% for the second, Indonesia ranks in the top 10 most popular winter trips . Ideal to fill up with sun and recharge in winter, the archipelago enjoys a mild climate and temperatures oscillate between 25 and 30 degrees.

The African continent is also at the heart of the desires of the French travelers for this winter with in particular South Africa and Tanzania . Zanzibar in 3rd position followed by Johannesburg and Cape Town are popular for their paradisiacal beaches and their huge natural parks.

Top Destinations in the Sun

This is good news for our wallet. This winter, most destinations are cheaper than last year at the same time. The most economical option is New Delhi with an average of 455 € for a round-trip flight, 9% less than in 2015. However, flights to the Maldives fell the most, with a 32% last year. A good plan since the flight now costs 463 €. Flights to South Africa were also down. There is an average of 508 € per flight.

On the other hand, Seychelles and New Zealand are the most expensive destinations with prices around 735 € for Mahé and up to 958 € for Auckland.
