Max Verstappen believes he and his Red Bull team are looking good for a strong weekend at the Hungaroring.

The Formula 1 fraternity head to the outskirts of Budapest next weekend for the final race before the mid-season break, the Hungarian GP.

It is a track that has been relatively kind to Red Bull over the years, with wins for Mark Webber in 2010 and Daniel Ricciardo in 2014 while the latter also secured a podium 12 months ago.

Verstappen has top-five finishes in both of his F1 races at the Hungaroring and is confident his team have the car to enjoy another strong weekend in Mogyorod.

"It's a great track, especially in a Formula One car," he is quoted as saying by F1 Today. "It's actually quite narrow and because you get high speeds, it's very fun to drive so I'm very much looking forward to this race.

"I don't want to call it Monaco without walls, but the circuit is definitely narrower than the other ones we visit.

"We've got more grip this year, so maybe we have to use different lines than last year, but that's all right. That's pretty straightforward."
