Green nail polish, a new classic?

Exit red, so-called safe value and timeless color, green is gaining momentum! Color associated with nature, luck and freedom are the marks to go green! And if the green nail polish replaced your red nail polish?

All shades of green

If the green nail polish sometimes tends towards the blue or towards the ocher, it is of course because the green is none other than the color resulting from the mixtures of the blue pigments with the yellow pigments.

This is how green nail polish varies from a duck green at Saint Laurent with Vert d'Orient varnish, or at Michael Kors with Thrill varnish, to a darker green at Marc Jacobs with Sally varnish or at Chanel with the dark green varnish. Others melt for the golden highlights of Burberry's Metallic Khaki nail polish or Nars Night Porters.

The green nail polish on the catwalks

And since it's hard to talk about trends without supporting evidence, Marieclaire has gone backstage at the fashion shows. At Walker, the fall-winter trend is duck green. A pearly varnish that combines perfectly with the smoky-eye blue and gray models. A duck green that we find again at L'huiller, where mother of pearl is always in order. At Miller, instead of a green fir put in lights share some discreet glitters barely perceptible. Finally, for the spring summer season , the oiler goes back to green, with a more dynamic shade that is touched with the fingertips.
