In Italy, for example, it is forbidden to wear noisy shoes in Capri. So think about buying noise-canceling skates before you go! Similarly, in Eraclea in the outskirts of Venice, sand castles are formally forbidden!


A little further in Asia, in Bhutan (Himalaya) , the sale of tobacco is prohibited! You have to import your own consumption and pay taxes up to 200% of the original price.
More annoying, in Singapore, it is the chewing gums and their chewing, which are prohibited, except of course in case of medical prescription!



On the look side, there are also rules to respect according to your destination. No trellis in St. Lucia in the Caribbean, nor in Trinidad and Tobago : they are reserved for the real military! Other even more absurd laws govern certain parts of the world. For example, it is forbidden to die before and in the Abbey of Westminster (England) , and in Malawi, a law of 1929 simply prohibits "flatulence" which " defiles the air".
