In 2016, Serbian Novak Djokovic defeated Andy Murray in the final and played a grand slam over two seasons (winning Wimbledon and the US Open in 2015 and the Australian Open and Roland-Garros in 2016). It was the 1 st time that tennis players simultaneously held the title since 1969 ... 4 Côté daughter, Garbine Muguruza, Spanish-Venezuelan player for Spain, aged only 22,   won his 1st major title to American Serena Williams.
