When to apply a foundation? Mixed to oily skin will appreciate using this product on a daily basis, under their foundation or compact powder. It is a multi-benefit product (a bit like a bb cream). The difference between foundation and primer? Any. The term "primer" is an English term which means "base" or "first". This is actually the first step to properly prepare the skin for makeup . How to choose your primer?

Depending on the skin, you should know your skin type: it can be dry, mixed, oily, dehydrated or just normal. Then, the choice of a primer can be made according to the color of the skin. For a mixed skin with dilated pores, it is advisable to use a smoothing / matifying base. There are also some colored primers, even slightly pearly to bring freshness and shine to the complexion. For dull skins, bases are specially designed to instantly enhance shine. As for the clear skins with "yellow" tendency, they will have more brilliance thanks to the use of a pink primer. All types of skins can use a primer as long as it is suitable. However, if the person is allergic to any of the components, the use of primers is discouraged.
