Feast of the recovery: stop waste and overconsumption!
At the time of mass consumption , we tend to leave our old objects aside or even throw them away. Yet, solutions exist to give them a second life . La Fête de la Récup ' offers an overview of the concrete and innovative solutions available to recycle our objects and reduce waste . For this second edition , the repair is in the spotlight and the recycling of Ile de France come together to make us discover their behind the scenes. So it's time to bring your old microwave end of life! We will be able to retype our everyday objects until then left behind and even create decor thanks to the 30 associations present on repair and transformation workshops . A large solidarity shop will also be present: to us rare pieces at low prices.
This action, set up by Réseau Francilien des Acteurs du Remployment, aims to:
- raise public awareness of overconsumption and waste , the need for production that is economical and respectful of the conditions of life.
- reduce the volume of waste incinerated by collection, sorting, upgrading and reuse.
And even if recycling is not everyone's cup of tea, we can still walk in the alleys of the Halle des blancs coats , in Paris, to listen to the very eclectic musical program . From Brazilian rhythms to a violin and clarinet concert , there will be something for everyone.
