Complementary to the so-called "contouring" makeup technique, strobing is a technique that consists of depositing light on the bulging parts of the face and diffusing it to restore its radiance.

How to do a strobing?

We begin by depositing the product (fluid illuminator, cream or powder) on the top of the cheekbone up to the temple. Then apply a touch at the edge of the nose, but not down to the end.

We continue with the inner hollow of the eye and the brow bone. Finally, we go to cupid's bow (just above the upper lip) and we end with a slight tip on the bottom of the chin.

What makeup to wear with a strobing?

Side eyes and lips, we avoid the iridescent, the goal is not to shine like a mirror ball! We therefore favor a matte texture to create a contrast.

It also ignores the powder after making his strobe, otherwise break the effect "glow" (glow in English) that we seek with this technique.

To accentuate the good-looking effect, do not hesitate to put a touch of peach-pink blush on the cheeks.

And there was light.
