Eliminate a stain of fat

If necessary, scrape the surface with a spoon or knife and do not use hot water to fix the stain.

- On white cotton : remove the stain with soapy water or a solvent such as trichlorethylene.
- On colored cotton : use ammonia water (1 tablespoon per 1 liter of water), then rinse thoroughly.

- On white cotton : barely chlorinated water is very effective.
- On colored cotton : apply a mixture of equal parts of water and alcohol , then acetic acid.
- On synthetic fibers : use soapy water or slightly vinegar . If stains persist, discolour the area with hydrogen peroxide . On red fruit stains , apply a rag soaked in lemon juice . Rinse immediately.
- On the wool : dab with a cloth soaked in a little vinegar . Rinse.
