The Quadras series is a kind of vaudeville. It is the story of a quadra, Alex, married to Isabelle (whom his entourage adores), and who falls in love with Agnes. He leaves his wife to marry Agnes, and she will announce at the wedding that she is expecting a child. Problem: Alex is barren and he never told her. During the wedding party, surrounded by her embittered mother, her accountant who comes out and who confides her love for him, her depressive sister-in-law, her best friend to affective disorders and the best friend of his wife who knows everything but says nothing, he will try to find out who is the father of the child.

As surprising as it may seem, the Quadra series is full of contradictions: it does not represent the generation of quadras so well, it is more interested in the thirties who identify themselves more, it alternates between the present and the past with flashbacks using a most successful achievement, it is both realistic and improbable, and also: it puts more emphasis on the talent of its second roles than the main character.

The mother of the groom "double game", the sister of the totally depressed bride, the best boyfriend of the fake groom Dom Juan ... These characters are more noticed by François-Xavier Demaison himself.

  • Anne Benoit - Myriam, the mother of the groom

With a great filmography to his credit, the one that embodies the mother of the groom surprises us from episode to episode, between his coldness, his humor, his cash vocabulary and his tone "without filter". In the movies, it was discovered in "Papa" by Maurice Barthélémy in 2004, then it has chained between dramas and comedies, notably in "Télé Gaucho" by Michel Leclerc and "100% Cashmere" by Valérie Lemercier.
