ingredients

1 kg of nectarines
the juice of 2 oranges
3 tbsp. to s. honey
3 cloves
1 pinch of grated nutmeg
4 tbsp. to s. blond raisins
4 seeds of cardamom

Steps

Step 1

Mix the juice of oranges, honey and spices . Peel the nectarines and put them all in the bottom of a casserole. Sprinkle them with the orange juice mixture, so that the liquid comes halfway up the fruit.

2nd step

Cover and cook on low heat for 20 minutes , basting the fruit with the cooking liquid every 5 minutes. Add the raisins and continue cooking for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Once cooked, place the nectarines in individual cups . Return the cooking juices to high heat and let uncover uncovered, stirring constantly until syrupy. Remove the cardamom seeds, cloves and water the fruits. Let cool before serving.
