The dark red trend, burgundy, dregs of wine or eggplant

Agathe Pons: This is the year of the red wine color, with novelty aubergine for us, that we find a lot in fashion and decoration! To create our nail polish we are inspired by the external trends which, this year, have hues bordeaux, lees of wine, aubergine or marsala which is the color of the year 2015 (Pantone), but by adapting them. For example, if the color of our varnish is close to the bordeaux which has a little past color as if it had remained a little longer in the sun, we will create a brighter burgundy, brighter so that it remains aesthetic for the complexion. For Bordeaux we opt for wisdom, but it's a timeless color in varnishes!

Any advice for wearing these colors?

Agathe Pons: These burgundy reds and dregs of wine go with everything. It must be said that dark red marry with all styles of clothing, casual jeans with a sophisticated look in beige tones, these are easy to wear colors. Only downside, in my opinion, which concerns very pale skin or sensitive because they tend to blush. And for this sometimes unsightly result, I will tend to discourage these colors.

How to put this nail polish and all these types of dark red?

Agathe Pons: For eggplant or other dark reds, it's like blue, it's not a very easy color to put on. Indeed if you overflow it stains a little on the skin, and it will tend to go wrong, even with a solvent. This therefore requires a more applied and more expert pose. Generally it takes two layers to have depth and intensity.

As for the length of the nails, these colors shrink, so avoid putting on the nails gnawed or very short. On the other hand this is very elegant on long nails!
