Misia, The Exclusives of Chanel
After succeeding his father as a perfumer who created Chanel perfumes, Olivier Polge signed his first fragrance in the Exclusives collection. A master stroke since his creation is a journey through time and a vibrant tribute to the house. He baptized Misia, named after Gabrielle Chanel's inseparable friend, who inspired him with the atmosphere of Russian ballet. The violet and two sumptuous roses of Grasse and Turkey evoke an odor of powdered lipstick, while the oriental wake around the tonka bean and Lao benzoin is as caressing as fur or velvet.

With Miu Miu, Miuccia Prada likes to play between fiction and reality, classicism and modernity to express youth, freedom and femininity. This bottle event upsets all the traditional codes of perfumery. Soft to the touch, the body in milky blue glass resuming the quilted bags of the house contrasts joyfully with the cap surmounted by a translucid cherry red disk. The fragrance, composed by Daniela Andrier, also cultivates paradoxes. The lily of the valley, chic and luminous, is attracted by its opposite, the wood of Akigala, earthy as a patchouli while being peppered. Intriguing, this first fragrance of Miu Miu is a marvel.

As a major couturier, Azzedine Alaïa has raised the female body to the rank of antique sculpture and revolutionized materials. During his meeting with the perfumer Marie Salamagne, he expresses his desire "to smell cold water on burning lime". An inspiration which, according to her, "does not resemble at all what one finds in the air of the time". This stimulating singularity, worthy of a Prize of the audacity, dictates a fresh impression, woven of aerial notes and pink pepper, relayed by a floral agreement composed of freesia and peony and by an animal part, covered with musks. Designer Martin Szekely houses perfume water in a sculptured mullabieh jewelry box as his Iman or Naomi Campbell museums.

Perfumers Sonia Constant and Antoine Maisondieu created a hand-stitched perfume for Valentino. True to the world of Rome beloved, Valentino Donna is both delicate and timeless, singular and obvious. The essence of rose, married to bergamot and iris Pallida, has that evanescent sparkle that touches the heart. The leather is then imposed, lined with vanilla and patchouli. The skilful opposition continues to the bottle, a flask of glass faceted in prisms that reveals a pastel pink juice of a great femininity. The campaign is photographed by Steven Meisel and realized by Louis Garrel with ultra-sensual voice-over.
