African Inspiration for Lacoste by Jean-Paul Goude

For its edition "Holiday Collector" , Lacoste has trusted the creativity of photographer and advertising Jean-Paul Goude . His desire: reinterpret the famous crocodile. Recognizable by all around the globe as well as the Louis Vuitton monogram or the Ralph Lauren horse polo player. Jean-Paul Goude wanted to modernize the logo more than 80 years old in his own way. Originally from Africa and in love with dance and Bahaus, it is quite naturally that he creates a line of polo shirts for man, woman and child ultra colored with not one but two logos . Like a ballet of automatons, two crocodiles are disguised: one pilot a unicycle as in a circus number and the other realizes a figure of equilibrism.

In addition to the mixed-polo line-up, Jean-Paul Goude's capsule collection is also made up of a bag, a "Chantaco" leather briefcase, and a quilted bomber in navy, red and black in limited edition. This collection "Holiday Collector" is available in all Lacoste boutiques around the world.
