What color for what imperfection?

When the imperfection is light, we opt for a concealer in a tone brighter than that of the foundation. When the imperfection is more important, we opt for a color corrector. And for good reason, applied one on the other two opposite colors cancel each other out. That is why it is recommended to apply a colored corrector, whose hue is opposite to that of the imperfection. And for that we refer to a colometrical wheel.

Thus, yellow or green will be used to camouflage purplish rings, a green or bluish concealer to disguise the redness or some pimples, a purple corrector to camouflage the yellowish glare, etc.
