In addition to obtaining the title of "best film of the year 1994", the film of Frank Darabont also obtained the best score of the classification (9,3 / 10), becoming thus the most popular film of the last 25 years according to users of the IMDb site.

Among the filmmakers, some directors return regularly, like Quentin Tarantino, who appears with three of his films ( Django Unchained , Inglourious Basterds , Reservoir Dogs ). The same goes for Christopher Nolan, who appears five times in the ranking with Interstellar , Inception , The Dark Knight, Batman Begins and Memento .
