Marina Foïs and Laurent Lafitte embody Florence and Vincent, a couple who succeeded on a personal and professional level before their divorce.
In this quest for perfection, Florence and Vincent will try to succeed in their divorce to disrupt as little as possible their four children: three teenagers and a small last designed after the separation.
Why is Dad or Mom 2 better than the first movie?
- A Comic Stage
Florence and Vincent both rebuild their lives, but to preserve the family balance, one lives in front of the other, in houses identical to the deco detail, each with the same dog. The two live in the same world, but separate.
The simple street that separates them becomes the spectacle of hilarious scenes and comic situations where one and the other pass from one house to the other without warning, night and day, without worrying about "Bene" the new spouse of Vincent, and Edouard, the new spouse of Florence.

- A duo Marina Foïs / Laurent Lafitte more accomplice than ever
Although they know each other "for several decades", as Laurent Lafitte says, the overwhelming complicity of the duo is best seen in Dad or Mom . The actors have acknowledged that they were more loose than in the first film, not hesitating to improvise.
A situation probably due to the fact that the first film focuses on children (the actors "fight" by children interposed) while the sequel is oriented towards the couple.
The duo works wonders, one has the feeling that the two know each other by heart to the point of having been married in the real life. They go beyond their limits in bickering and "punchlines" licked, and stimulate themselves to get shattering, spectacular, and really funny scenes.

- A story that will please the romantics
The followers of the lovely stories of couple in the cinema were certainly disappointed by Florence and Vincent who tore in the first film.
Here, although one is confronted with scenes of real brawl, disappointments and betrayals, one is touched by the unbroken link established by the couple, the one they do not want to recognize.
Marina Foïs and Laurent Lafitte captivate by their overflowing energy. And even when they are hurting themselves, they support themselves to better leave in adversity.
- Fantastic scenes
Drowning simulated, broken dishes, low blows, lies, pursuit and stratagems of all kinds ... Everything is good to play with the nerves of the other and to test, unconsciously, the love that they still have one for the other.
Some fights are worthy of real waterfalls that take us into a passionate whirlwind between love and detestation, all skilfully played by the duo of actors. Sometimes the roles are reversed, the parents behave like children to shame the family, and the children want to be wiser and thoughtful.

- A hilarious verbal ping-pong
No doubt, the sequel to Dad or Mom is much better. She already wants to go back to memorize the good jokes worthy of a cult movie with a verbal ping-pong that continues to make us laugh.
Silences, gestures, looks and expressions reinforce the level of boiling that is maintained throughout the film.
With this couple so seductive and tonic, we can already imagine the third strand ...
