We start by sorting in the kitchen , emptying all the cupboards and drawers. Try to classify objects by category (utensils with utensils, pans with pans and so on), and discard anything that is too old and / or useless (first, non-stick stoves to damaged bottoms, which may be carcinogenic as well as used sponges, swollen with bacteria!).

We are polite!

Clean the inside of your cupboards, your fridge; if necessary, defrost your freezer. When the layout of your kitchen allows it, move your appliances and polish behind the furniture .

The more courageous can also blow a sponge on the walls and handles of doors and cupboards.

3 rules for a tidy kitchen:

Empty: Take three big bags: one for throw away stuff, one for things to give and the other for all the things you want to keep.

Sort: all you can! We throw out what is out of date, broken and we keep only what is useful to us! Clean the kitchen completely with bleach (except oven and fridge, for the first, use a dedicated product, for the second, prefer a mixture of white vinegar and water) and take the opportunity to clean the interior of drawers.

Ranger: one re-arranges all the useful objects in everyday life, the ideal would be to group them according to zones of activities:
- storage includes pantry and refrigerator;
- the preparation area requires cutting board, bowls, knives ...
- the cooking zone must consist of pots, pans and knives.
- the service includes dishes, cutlery and plates.
- Finally the last part will be the cleaning, located near the sink and include all your household products.

Optimize your space:

Unleash your desktops, try to reduce the number of items, and store all the appliances you do not use every day in a closet. Leave only what is used daily , namely your coffee maker, kettle or toaster.

Little info to sort the food (shelf life):
- canned foods: 2 to 5 years
- cereals: 6 months
- Pasta: 1 year
- spices: 6 to 12 months
- flours: 3 to 6 months
- grains and pulses: 1 year
- dried herbs: 6 months
- condiments: 1 year
