The perfect blonde Barbie's time and her equally "smooth" Ken is gone. After changing her pace, morphology and accessories at will, Barbie is now preparing to become a fashion muse. On October 21st and 22nd at the Museum of Decorative Arts, a big exhibition will be devoted to the doll of our childhood and for the occasion, 15 fashion designers had fun to relooker.

A new generation of Barbie

During this exhibition, we will discover Barbie very different from the one we are used to seeing. The creators have put their heart to the book to create a Barbie , accessible to the general public, which resembles us . Round, large, small, whatever our skin color or the nature of our hair, we will inevitably find a Barbie that resembles us. Hipanema, Mademoiselle D or the brand Albertine played the game and took care to create outfits related to their usual creative work . Barbie wacky, discreet, rock & roll, or anti-conformist, we see all colors. Visitors will also be able to admire the three new silhouettes of Ken (with a small potbelly in place of its chocolate bars) and a brand new range of Barbie Fashionistas. In short, it changes!

Animations for children

In addition to the exhibition, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris offers entertainment for children . On the program: the creation of a dress for Barbie made of Silk paper, the decoration of a shoe template for the doll, or the creation on paper of an outfit for our favorite figurine. An original program to bring out their creativity and imagination . The entrance is free and free from 10 am to 6 pm.
