The story

Penelope finds himself with a life completely upset. A former divorced soldier, she suddenly finds herself a single mother and has to take care of her two children. And what better than a new city for a new start? All three of them fly to Indianapolis to begin a new life, with a helping hand from Penelope's Cuban mother, and Schneider, a work leader who is going to make friends with the little family.

Why do we watch As the days pass?

Netflix always has the gift of putting the finger on small nuggets. The platform of VOD regularly offers us series of quality, and with this new reboot , continues its advance on the way of the comedy.

Over the days should recall memories to our parents and grandparents, since the initial series, featuring Bonnie Franklin and Pat Harrington JR . had been a great success. It was broadcast between 1975 and 1984 on NBC in the United States, and had even made a passage on Antenne 2 (ancestor of France 2) , at the end of the 80s.

Rather than making a simple reboot , Netflix decided to bring a few twists to the series by deciding to stage a family of Cuban origin, in order to make us discover another culture ... And to avoid making a copy- paste from the initial series!

The main role of the comedy is Justina Machado , a well-known actress, who has starred in Devious Maids and Queen of the South , and American Nightmare 2 . She shares the poster with Todd Grinnell (seen in The Young Pope) and Rita Moreno ( Happily Divorced , Jane the Virgin ... ). Beautiful people!

You'll love it if ...

If you have already seen the initial series, necessarily, this reboot has every chance to seduce you. But viewers of the first version of the days is not the main target. The sitcom is close to other comedies on families a little atypical. Among them, one could quote the series About a Boy , or even Our Beautiful Family , cult series of the 90s!
