What is an "energy drink"?

Energy drinks are a kind of soda strongly enriched with existing products. These are usually caffeine and taurine. Energy drinks are mainly used to keep the brain awake. What is the conclusion of the investigation into the dangerousness of energy drinks?

Before making its findings, ANSES examined more than 200 subjects who had suffered disorders after drinking energy drinks. Among these disorders, the most common were epileptic seizures, uncontrollable tremors, vertigo and anxiety attacks. More serious: Of the subjects examined, 7 had succumbed to cardiac arrest after consuming an energy drink with alcohol or before exercising. Made public on October 1, 2013, the conclusions of the ANSES are final: yes, the high concentration of exciting agents of energy drinks makes them dangerous products for health under certain conditions. It is recommended to consume them with great moderation and especially never to drink them with alcohol and / or before physical exertion.
