APIdays: the conservation of bees, an environmental issue

The conservation of bees is an environmental and economic issue that goes far beyond the world of beekeepers . Sensitive to the quality of their environment, bees play an essential role in maintaining our biodiversity. Indeed, they contribute to the pollination of 80% of the species of plants with flowers and fruits of our planet, more than 200 000 different species.

And according to the latest data from the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA), 35% of our food resources depend on pollination by bees. Hence the major challenge of these APIdays National Days .
