Want to escape for Valentine's Day? We sometimes hope that our half has made things big and organized a surprise weekend getaway. The French have planned an average budget of 194 € for a weekend for two. A nice budget ... which is only average. Some have planned much more (joy!) And others much less (disappointment)!

The Alsatians champions of romanticism

Every weekend weekend booking site Weekendesk establishes a 'Love Index' calculated according to the amount invested by men to please their half on the occasion of Valentine's Day. And at this little game there, it is the Alsatians who win the palm of romanticism. They plan to spend an average of € 289 to escape to two. The Normans , with an average budget of 244 €, the Limousins (237 €), the Languedociens (232 €) and the Auvergne (213 €).

Les Picards, the latest in the rankings

Obviously, one is surprised by the ranking of the inhabitants of Paris. If Paris is the capital of love, the Parisians are not the kings of romanticism ... The proof? The Île-de-France ranks only 8th position, overtaken by 7 other regions! As for Lorraine, No. 1 ranking last year, they are this year as 9th but still willing to spend € 192 to share a perfect weekend with their half! At the very end of the pack, there are the Poitou-Charentais and the Picards , ready to spend respectively 165 € and 164 € to celebrate Valentine's Day. It is they who will spend the month, certainly, but not of what to worry if your Jules is of one of these regions. You can still have fun with this nice sum!
