Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has made Davis Cup glory with France his main goal for the rest of the year.

The 32-year-old won both of his singles rubbers in the weekend's semi-final win over Serbia in Lille and the French now face neighbours Belgium in November's final.

France have won the Davis Cup nine times in the competition's history but the last of those victories came in 2001, while they lost the final in both 2010 and 2014.

Tsonga struggled with injury on that occasion and is keen to make amends after a tough year to date.

With a place in the end of season ATP Finals far from guaranteed, he admits winning the annual tournament for his country is now his main goal for the remainder of the year.

"Reaching the final gives a good taste, that's another chance for the team to bid the trophy we have been waiting for years," he said. "But we won't wait because we will try to win. I will give my best to prepare well.

"The final comes above everything. ATP Finals are far away, that's not in my mind. My goal is to raise my level for this final."
