Attention alert blow of heart of summer 2016 ! After the ephemeral golden tattoo, it is the turn of the white henna tattoo to display on social networks this year. And especially on Instagram where #whitehenna and #henneblanc reveal many drawings. Whether it is to celebrate this summer on the beach or during a wedding, this new trend is likely to make followers (it must be said that on a tanned skin, it is canon!).

But what is "white henna"?

In reality, "white henna" does not exist . This mixture that is seen on the pictures does not consist of henna. The true henna comes from a plant from India and Arabia, whose leaves are ground to obtain an orange powder. To obtain white henna, there are many mixtures of which some perplexed (mixing cosmetic glue with acrylic paint for example .... We advise against those who have sensitive skin but others also ...)

How to make her henna white yourself?

Here are 2 formulas without great risk for the skin:

- Apply cosmetic glue then cover the pattern with white glitter .
This mixture lasts up to 2 days on the hands and up to 5/6 days on the body.

- Mix cosmetic glue with natural pigments such as mica to obtain a white paste close to that of henna.
The result will be a little less durable, the tattoo usually disappears after a day.

To try to keep the white henna tattoo as much as possible, you can apply some spray lacquer to the hair on the drawing. To avoid, any friction or jet of water that would damage the ephemeral tattoo.
