Who has never experienced this feeling of well-being right after a hair removal, soft legs and beardless? Because we would like it to last as long as possible while knowing that the hairs will necessarily come back, here are some tips to manage hair regrowth and delay it as much as possible.

The right method of hair removal

To begin with, you should know that the management of hair regrowth already depends on how you will depilate them. Those who shave will have only three days - at best - respite (like those who opt for depilatory creams) when those who handle the electric epilator will be quiet for 2 to 3 weeks. And the better-off are those who are waxing. For them, 3 to 4 weeks of soft skin! If one can, one even favors the oriental hair removal, 100% natural, based on sugar, lemon juice and water, which delays the growth of the hair and softens it gradually.

Good gestures to fight hair

On a daily basis, certain habits can help manage regrowth, preventing the appearance of redness or ingrown hairs or by softening the hair. This allows it to better leave during the depilation and prevents the appearance of ugly red dots. What are these magic gestures? We never repeat it enough: hydration is paramount. Every day, moisturize your skin. This softens the skin and hair. Coupled with a scrub once or twice a week, this allows the hair to pierce more easily the skin and avoids ingrown hairs, which can be painful and unsightly. Therefore, less ingrown hairs mean more double shoot (this annoying mania that the hairs do not all grow at the same time and which makes a week after you are depilated, you see new hairs pointing the end of their nose ...) and therefore a slower regrowth of hair!

Grandmother's recipes for hair regrowth

To lengthen the time between two epilations, you can use the secrets of our ancestors. These, for example, cut a lemon in two and applied it to the depilated area to soften the hair. You can also bet everything on the essential oil of sage, applied half an hour after waxing on the area to be treated. Others will advise you on this magic potion: in a saucepan, heat lemon juice with half a liter of water and five cloves. Let cool and apply to the skin. Finally, here is a potion to keep all night: 5 tablespoons of lemon juice added to 3 teaspoons of salt, all applied on the area freshly plucked.

Products to slow hair growth

Now, many brands offer products to fight against the regrowth of the hair, or at least slow it down. Besides the so-called miracle cream with ant eggs, there are many lotions, ointments, sprays and even deodorants to better manage regrowth and between-waxing. When you have chosen the treatment that best suits you, apply it daily to the areas of the hair. You can couple these creams, of course, with your moisturizer. On the other hand, do not combine the anti-regrowth products, which could fight against one another rather than the hair.
