500 g Charal frozen beef cubes

1.2 kg of Bintje potatoes (or any other variety of firm-fleshed potatoes)

200 g smoked bacon slices

4 bay leaves

10 g of butter

Flower of salt

Pepper

Steps

Step 1

Butter a gratin dish about 25 cm x 18 cm.

2nd step

Preheat your oven to 160 ° C (thermostat 5).

Step 3

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin slices about 3 mm thick.

Step 4

Lay a first layer at the bottom of the gratin dish. Place on the laurel leaves washed. Salt sparingly (the recipe includes smoked bacon) and pepper.
