We had promised to be reasonable but, like every year, we succumbed to the call of the sirens. A slice of foie gras here, some oysters there, a little salmon "to taste" and dessert to finish on a sweet note ... all washed down with champagne and a little wine. And what's more, it's been a week since we eat anything. Result: we have the heart at the edge of the lips, belly stretched, the head explodes and we feel at the end of the roll. And to say that there is still a week before New Year's Eve ...

Liver crisis or indigestion?

Both ! The symptoms are caused by one (or more!) Meals too rich. Hence the digestive signs (nausea, vomiting, pain, ...). The headache, it is caused either by an excess of alcohol, or by the stress related to the organization of the eve and family reunion, or by the change of pace (we went to bed late, ... ). The liver crisis (which does not have much to do with the liver) is indigestion coupled with a hangover or a good blow of stress. As for the pain that is sometimes felt in the liver, it is usually the stomach that begs to be left a little quiet.

A "liver crisis" usually occurs in one or two days, provided you go on a diet and adopt the right actions presented on the slide. If the signs persist, we must think of a gastro or a virus. And if you feel a big pain in the gallbladder that radiates to the liver, you should consult: it can be a gallstone.
