Vegetable enzymes to relieve difficult digestion

The nutrients we consume must be "cut up" into small fragments to be well digested.
If our digestive enzymes are usually involved in this job, they can quickly find themselves overwhelmed in various excesses and varied.
Or simply with the years, since young adults have, for example, 30 times more digestive enzymes than 65 years ...
They can be helped by vegetable substitutes from pineapple or papaya (Vegetal Enzymes from Vit'all or Digestive Vegetable Enzymes from Solgar).
We can complete our pro-digestive strategy with Nux Vomica 5CH (5 granules per dose to repeat until symptoms disappear), the homeopathic medicine for digestion.

Calm heartburn with cardamom

This spice has been used for millennia in Ayurveda - traditional Indian medicine - to calm "an excess of fire" in the stomach.
Several studies have also shown the effectiveness of cardamom on gastric acidity and even on stomach ulcers (in animals).
Nobody knows how it works, but the result is there.
3 or 4 cardamom capsules are peeled to keep only the seeds which are reduced to powder in the mixer or pestle.
It is mixed with yogurt or rice . Be careful, the lemony / peppery taste of cardamom is not unanimous. More generally, we also try to eat slowly, to split our meals and to avoid foods that are too fat or too sweet for a few days.

We try activated charcoal when we have swollen belly

The surface of this vegetable charcoal, derived from poplar wood, coconut bark, etc., consists of microscopic pores capable of attracting and capturing the gas causing the bloating.
A bit like a sponge. It works pretty well since it is also used as an antipoison.
You do not need to throw your green plants into the fire: you take ready-made capsules (Activated Charcoal Fleurance Nature, Charcoal Arkocaps, Charcoal Boiron or Naturactive Elusanes Charcoal). In general, up to 6 per day. Be careful to leave at least 2 hours between the intake of charcoal and that of another drug (pill, antihypertensives, statins ...), which could also be imprisoned.

Efficiency 50%

We drink peppermint tea for spasms of all kinds

This plant acts directly on the smooth muscles of the digestive system (those that are not controlled and that cause spasms).
Australian researchers showed last year that mint triggers an analgesic mechanism in the colon, soothing spasm pain.
They even work on the development of a mint medicine. Meanwhile, it can be used as is, adding lemon balm to reduce the production of acidic gastric juice and relieve stomach cramps.
Instructions for use: mix 1 tsp. to c. well full of each plant and let infuse in 250 ml of water. 3 or 4 cups a day outside of meals.
To complete, we proceed to a friction of the lower abdomen using an equivalent dose mixture of hazelnut oil and essential oil of myrrh, with antiseptic and analgesic properties.

Essential oil of basil to undo the knots

This plant has been known for ages for its soothing effects on spasms and severe pain in the abdomen. Last year, Brazilian researchers wanted to know more about this ancestral remedy.
Conclusion: not only basil essential oil has antispasmodic properties but, in addition, it would simply short circuit the nerve messages of pain.
Instructions for use: apply 2 drops of basil essential oil (pure) to the lower abdomen and massage very gently clockwise for about 3 min.
The relief is progressive. We also try to move as much as possible.
Chronic pain in the abdomen is largely influenced by stress, and sport is the best way to relieve tension.
