What are the different types of wrinkles?

There are expression lines, related to the contraction of the muscles. So the caricature is at the forehead, where they are linked to hyperactivity of the muscles. And to erase these wrinkles, the treatment that is required is that of the cause: that is to say that we will temporarily paralyze the muscle and it will smooth the forehead. But the botulinum toxin used in this case has an effect not only limited in time. In addition, it will act not only on the voluntary contraction but also on the muscle tone, to a certain extent. Because the muscle is never completely at rest. For example, if we touch our biceps, it is still contracted: this is called the muscle tone. And in some patients, muscle tone helps to generate small wrinkles. And so the botulinum toxin will not only come to paralyze the muscle to obtain a voluntary expression, and in addition decrease the tone to erase these small wrinkles.

At the forehead, we notice horizontal wrinkles, vertical wrinkles and crow's feet wrinkles. For horizontal wrinkles, we will come to paralyze the frontal muscle. The lion's wrinkles are generated by the contraction of three muscles. The orbicularis muscle on the lateral part, is all around the eye, but with botulinum toxin that works locally, we will come to paralyze only part of the muscle to fade the crow's feet. And last thing for the use of botulinum toxin: we will come sting in the tail of the eyebrow to open a little look.

In addition to expression lines, there are wrinkles related to apoptosis that are deeper wrinkles and require filling. And here we use filler products such as hyaluronic acid.

What are the methods of injections of hyaluronic acid ?

There are several methods to put it in place. The original method is of course the needle that will inject hyaluronic acid where you want. The problem is that a needle is sharp, so when it is moved it can hurt nerves or small vessels. This can expose to bruises. Beside this for some time we use techniques of cannulas, which are in the form of large needles which are dull at the end and therefore not traumatic for the skin. So, by passing this cannula under the skin, we can rebuild an entire area like a valley of tears or a nasolabial fold. As in the hypodermis there is no partition, the cannula can walk under the skin, and when we feel its end, we can inject the product stack in the right place.

What is peeling?

Superficial wrinkles that only touch the upper part of the epidermis are treated with peels. It is a stripping of the epidermis and superficial dermis that will remove the damaged layer. It is important not to go deeper under penalty of having an indelible scar. And so we will try to get closer to this border area.

What is the main demand of patients?

The main demand of the patients is not to rejuvenate. This is the good-looking effect. Because there is nothing more depressing than being in shape, having slept well and arriving at the office to be told "you look tired". As a result, the effect of our techniques should not be a caricatural effect. The goal is to obtain a natural result.
