They are the queens of urban bitumen. City-dwellers account for 53% of car sales in France. Small, practical, economical, all makes of cars have their model. Today these cars seduce as much singles, couples as families.
The first prizes flirt with the 8000 € ... to reach more than 32 000 € for the Mini Coupé John Cooper Works.

We asked Thierry Bouretz, marketing director of the Korean brand Kia, to explain to us why city cars seduce so much the French.
Argument in 3 acts.

- The city is manageable and comfortable.
And it responds exactly to the needs of urban people looking for a modest, easy-to-park car that's easy to maneuver and sneak into the city streets. But that's not all, this car must also be able to take the highway.

- The city has (almost) everything from a big one.
We must believe that reduced dimensions = reduced ability. The time of small Spartan cars is over. The manufacturers have all planted to make the interior of these cars comfortable to the maximum. These are real 5 places. Outside, the style is more assertive than that of a sedan: the Twingo bets on the yellow, the Picanto of Kia on the Fuchsia or the Peugeot 108 which can be personalized.

- The city is the right dose of technology.
The time of cars with just flashing and horn is over. The city cars are equipped, in series, essential technologies in 2015: cruise control, Bluetooth to phone. Features as essential as the free wifi access to the hotel.
