Untimely ads often promise mounts and wonders on the net ... And they are everywhere! The only problem is that these pseudo-advertisements are scams. And one in particular has attracted the attention of the 60 Million Consumer magazine: the latest iPhone offered at 1 €.

A well-run scam

This pop-up is in the form of a press article . A fake obviously but all the codes are present:

- the resumption of a duck known as the Tribune which has also warned its readers on their site.
- an explanation for this price decline . Here, the false advertising makes talk about a "strategic distribution partner of Apple" which explains that the iPhone 6s is at 1 € following the decline of the market share of the American company.
- Testimonies to support his remarks . Photos of "happy elected" proudly brandishing an iPhone and explaining that it is not a scam and that they have had their iPhone at 1 €.

Know how to recognize this scam

All this is obviously false. First, advertising offers an offer reserved only to the inhabitants of a region (the one where one lives-what coincidence), intended to make the reader want. It is, in fact, automatically generated. Then, this scam hidden under a pseudo article presents false testimonies . Moreover, the photo of the pub does not represent the famous Richard, 29, living in Aix-en-Provence, happy owner of an iPhone 6s to 1 €, no. This photo was taken in Australia in September 2014, when the release of the iPhone 6. And a quick search on the web proves it. Besides, if we read the small paragraphs at the bottom of the page, we can quickly understand the deception. Written in English, it says: "The person described in this story is not real unless otherwise stated" and further on: " This is an advertisement and not a real news article." This is a scam . And for those who fell in the panel, the finding is bitter . They find themselves subscribing to a service to which they have not subscribed. Price: 90 € per month and no iPhone. The beautiful scam ...
