The Princess Race at Versailles

Want to be a princess for a race? In 2016 for the 3rd year in a row, Barbara Gould, beauty brand, organizes the Princess Race, a running race in which we run in princess disguise! Only for women over 16 , the Princess Race will take place at 11.15 in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles, Sunday, June 19, 2016 . On the program: 8 kilometers to go in this place steeped in history. To register, simply go to the website www.njuko.net (22 € instead). Each participant will receive a Barbara Gould beauty product and a collector's bracelet . And, "race princesses" requires, at the end of the course, a contest will elect the most beautiful princess disguise .

The Running Tour of the Palace of Versailles

The Princesses' Race is not the only one to take place on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the Château de Versailles: the Running Tour of the Château de Versailles has been offering for five years, five races (in addition to the Princess Barbara Gould Race) in the enclosure of the large park of the Castle classified as World Heritage by UNESCO:
- the 15km Royal Race for men and women from 16 years old,
- the 3 km Trianon Race reserved for the underprivileged and the youngest (born between 2001 and 2006),
- the 2 km Castle Race for chicks (born in 2005-2006),
- The 400m Knights Race for the youngest (born in 2007 and after).

Registration is also online, always on the site njuko.net. The price of the registrations goes from 10 € for the Castle Race, to 36 € for the Royal race. The Knights' Run for the little ones is free. The money raised contributes to the renovation of the Palace of Versailles and it will notably serve to finance:
- the plantation of 30 lime trees,
- the restoration of the statues Hercules and Pan ,
- the restoration of the marble benches located along the canal .

At the end of the six races, many activities will be proposed for the runners and their families: medieval games (tug of war, wooden bowling, bag race ...) and other animations orchestrated by a balloon sculptor , a fire-jugglers and stilt-walkers.
